CTIA Booths Mirror Hosts' Slogans: Top 10 Mobile Mottos
The theme for CTIA 2009 was “What Does Mobile Life Mean to You?”
Seems like everyone had their own answer:
We noticed that quite a few of the big players at CTIA this year took their corporate slogan to heart when designing their booth. Some were likely by design, others just happened to work out that way. And while the mottos are intended to be flattering, there were certainly a few ironic twists on the cellphone catchphrases.
10

Nokia- Connecting People
Namely, the two representatives holding the new N97 with the line of people waiting to see it
9

Slacker- your radio everywhere
The boys of Slacker certainly got around, making appearances at Show Stoppers (pre show press event) and sharing some space at the BlackBerry pad.
8

SpinVox- what we say, and how we say it, is a wonderful and powerful thing
Box-headed dolls and comic books are powerful, and their color was wonderful.
7

HTC- smart mobility
Nothing says intelligent transportation like a bright green transform-to-clutch bag
6

Verizon- can you hear me now?
Housed in a less-than-prominent location, the Verizon booth actually housed some neat tech. Don’t be afraid of dead zones.
5

Microsoft- Your Potential. Our passion.
You focus on the potential of Windows Mobile 7, we’re still passionate about WinMo 6.5
4

RIM- no slogan
The same general feel we got when we asked about the BlackBerry Niagra (or anything aside from the new AppWorld)
3

Samsung- DIGITall, everyone’s invited
With plenty of space, nice carpet, and a surprising lack of people looking at the Samsung Mondi, the more the merrier.
2

Skype- take a deep breath
…No really, You’re going to need it when you see our crazy cirque du soleil bird.
1

Garmin- Don’t just get there. Arrive.
The Garmin NuviFone has finally arrived (though it took a while to get here)
.5

LG- life’s good
Regardless of having only relatively new products to show; with chic décor, a chunk of the Transformers Spark Cube, a live DJ, and in-screen dinnerware, life is more than decent.
