HTC’s Snap bucks the current smart phone trend by not giving it a touch screen interface and actual tactile buttons. This is to help make emailing from the phone even simpler. To help organize your emails, the Snap will organize all your emails by your preferred contacts, or inner circle as HTC calls it, so those emails appear first.
The Snap’s inner circle feature lets you keep in better contact with your exclusive few. With the touch of a button your preferred emails are automatically placed at the top of your list, making reading and responding to those emails even easier.
Your emails are easier to read with the 2.4 inch LCD display. While it may not be a touch screen, the Snap is still trying to show that not having a touch screen is still cool.
The built in 2.0 megapixel camera is just that: a digital camera that takes 2.0 megapixel photos.
The HTC Snap runs on Windows Mobile making it easy to sync and manage your contacts and emails to keep organized. Emailing and texting is easier and faster with the Snap’s tactile QWERTY keyboard.
With competition heating up in the smart phone market, manufacturers are coming out with newer and better ways of making their phones stand out. The inner circle feature takes email management a step further by allowing you to filter your inner circle’s messages to the top of your list.
While the price of the HTC Snap hasn’t been announced yet, it is a fair bet that the price will be competitive. If you buy the phone with a phone plan, the phone should be right in line with its iPhone and Blackberry counterparts.
Keep your life organized and simple with the HTC Snap.
